Meera Shah, MD, FACOG, is a reproductive endocrinology and fertility specialist at NOVA IVF in Mountain View, California. Dr. Shah began her medical career as an undergraduate in neurobiology and South Asian studies at University of California, Berkeley. She earned her medical degree at Stanford Medicine, and then did a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of California, San Francisco. She rounded out her training with a fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at Stanford Medicine.
During her fellowship, Dr. Shah began sharing her expertise with students, and she’s been honored with several teaching awards. She has authored numerous articles in leading medical journals on diverse subjects such as fertility preservation for cancer patients, pregnancy loss, reproductive genetics, and ethnic differences in IVF outcomes.
Dr. Shah knows that the journey to parenthood can be a difficult one, and that the stress of infertility and loss is often a life-altering experience. Her first priority is to guide her patients through the journey so that they can build the family they’ve always dreamed about.
When Dr. Shah isn’t busy working with her patients at NOVA IVF, she enjoys playing tennis, traveling, hiking, and spending time with her husband and three sons.
