Testicular or epididymal sperm aspiration is billed separately from the procedure to which it is added (see cost of in vitro fertilization, oocyte donation, gestational surrogacy and oocyte donation with gestational surrogacy).

Sperm identification from testicular or epididymal sperm aspiration ($2,200) includes identification of viable sperm in an epididymal or testicular aspirate and sperm preparation for capacitation and concentration adjustment.

Intracytoplasmic sperm injection-ICSI ($1,850) is required for oocyte fertilization with aspirated sperm.

Sperm cryopreservation and storage ($375) is normally done in conjunction with sperm aspiration procedure to preserve any extra sperm for potential subsequent use.

Please note that these fees are per each occurrence of the sperm aspiration procedure. If your treatment is a part of a multiple cycle plan requiring repeating the sperm aspiration in subsequent treatment cycles, the fees are due each time the sperm aspiration is added.

The sperm aspiration does not need to be repeated if there is cryopreserved sperm available from a previous aspiration.

As a courtesy, if you have insurance coverage for reproductive treatments, we will file all necessary insurance claims for you. You will only pay the portion of your fee that the insurance does not cover.

Please see additional information on Nova Treatments and Fees page. If you wish, you can request an initial appointment for sperm aspiration treatment with one of the Nova physicians.

Fees are subject to change without notice.
