The most common reasons for surrogacy with egg donation are the intended mother's inability to produce normal quality eggs together with previous hysterectomy, congenital uterine malformations or medical conditions making being pregnant too risky for the intended mother.
With this treatment, most couples will have a 50-80% probability of a live birth per treatment cycle at Nova.
In gestational surrogacy with egg donation, your egg donor provides the egg(s), the intended father provides the sperm and in vitro fertilization is done to create embryos. The embryos are then transferred into the surrogate's uterus. The resulting baby is genetically unrelated to the surrogate.
To have the gestational surrogacy with egg donation treatment at Nova IVF, at least one partner (intended mother or intended father) must be younger than 50 at the time your treatment begins.
Like most IVF/oocyte donation/gestational surrogacy centers, Nova IVF does not provide oocyte donors or surrogates. Most patients use the services of a third party oocyte donor/surrogacy agency to find an oocyte donor and a surrogate. A blood-related (to the intended mother) donor can be an excellent choice.
